Gerald Boland Memorial Scholarship

The Gerald Boland Memorial Scholarship is managed in partnership with St. Vrain Valley Schools Education Foundation as part of their scholarship program. The Education Foundation is able to accept donations through the Gerald Boland Memorial Scholarship – Be Sweet fundraising page on ColoradoGives.org.

Participants can do any work out that they like, any time they like, anywhere they like, with anyone they like There are several groups doing different bike rides (gravel and road), hikes and walks.

All participants will receive a “Sweet” goodie bag full of fun stuff.

Here is how it works:

• Between September 7^th and 21^st 2025 (representing the week before and the week after the flood anniversary) you can do any workout, walk, run, hike, bike, bowl, paddleboard etc…. with a group of friends or on your own.
• Sign up here with your name, email and tell us what kind of workout you plan to do (if you know when and where, I will do my best to be there with snacks and cheers).
• Every participant will receive a SWEET goodie bag full of fun stuff and your name will be entered into the pool for a possibility of winning fabulous prizes.
• Every donation above $50, and prior to Sept. 5th, will also receive a Be Sweet event long sleeved t-shirt.

• If you want to donate to the scholarship fund by cash or check, please contact Amy @ ride@besweet.fitness.
• Please be sure to take photos of your workout and send them to: ride@besweet.fitness to share your fun with the other participants.
• If you are looking to ride or walk with a group, please contact me and I’ll connect you with others also looking.
• This is a virtual event, it is on your own time and at your own risk – please be careful, have fun and I can’t wait to cheer you on.
• The deadline for the t-shirt order has passed. If there are any extra shirts available, we will contact you at a later date.
